Everyone loves the flavor of these burgers when I make them.
4 fresh ground beef patties
4 slices Cheddar cheese
4 whole wheat hamburger rolls
Steakhouse Spice Mix
1/2 teaspoon black peppercorn
1/2 teaspoon pink peppercorn
1/2 teaspoon green peppercorn
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon parsley
1/4 teaspoon paprika
Place all of the spice ingredients in a spice grinder. Season the beef patties on both sides with the spice blend. Preheat a grill or grill-pan over medium heat. Cook the burgers for 5-7 minutes on each side depending on the desired doneness. Place the cheese on top during the last minute and let melt. Serve on whole wheat rolls with lettuce and fresh tomato.
Serves 4
