After some harsh words of choice, Sharon Osbourne apologized for saying that Britain’s Got Talent runner-up Susan Boyle was hit by “the ugly stick.”
Last month, Osbourne was on Sirius XM Radio’s The Opie & Anthony Show and was faced with questions about Boyle. Osbourne responded with, “You just want to say God bless and here’s a Gillette razor.”
But Osbourne felt guilty fast and Tweeted on her Twitteraccount to try and patch things up.
“Susan Boyle is a lovely gracious woman and I took advantage of that by poking fun at her,” she wrote. “I would never want to be responsible for hurting Susan and I must apologize for getting a cheap laugh at her expense.”
Meanwhile, Boyle will release her first album, I Dreamed A Dream, on November 24.

Susan Boyle is an exceptionally talented lady who’s been subjected to considerable criticism in the media. IMHO she deserves every bit of success that she is experiencing.
