International Quilt Festival

The International Quilt Festival is an event that takes place from October 22 - Nov 2, 2008 at the George R. Brown Convention Center. About 50,000 people are expected to attend.

Event Profile: Embroidery, quilting, weaving, applique, crochet, and a range of beautiful needlework techniques and arts and crafts are on display at this four-day expo. Offering a wealth of information this perennial fair will provide the inspiration for your next project.

Harris County Precinct 4 is sponsoring a trip on Thursday, October 30, to the event through their Senior Adult Program. If you are age 50 and above and would like to attend, reserve your seat by calling (281) 893-3726 ext. 47. Transportation from the Crosby Community Center departs at 8:45 am.
