He’s wrapping up the “Harry Potter” chapter in his career and now Daniel Radcliffe is looking ahead to what’s next.

Radcliffe has been cast as a young lawyer in the upcoming film adaptation of the bestselling Susan Hill novel “The Woman in Black.”

Directed by James Watkins and adapted by Jane Goldman, “The Woman in Black” centers on Daniel’s character who finds himself embroiled in a ghostly hostage plot.

Radcliffe told press, “I am incredibly excited to be part of The Woman in Black. Jane Goldman’s script is beautifully written – both tender and terrifying in equal measure.”
