Guaranty Bank Tour de Houston

Tour de Houston - Bike through Houston's Historic DistrictThe Guaranty Bank Tour de Houston began as an idea that came to the Mayor White from State Senator Rodney Ellis who participated in a five Burroughs ride in New York City. He enjoyed being able to see the historic areas of New York by bicycle and thought that Houston’s historic districts could offer bicycle enthusiasts a great experience as well.

If you are a bike enthusiast, here’s your opportunity to tour Houston’s historic districts while doing something good at the same time!

The fifth annual Guaranty Bank Tour de Houston takes place Sunday, March 22, 2009.

This year’s ride will begin and end downtown at Discovery Green, 1500 McKinney Street. This BP MS 150 Recommended Ride offers a 20 mile, 40 mile and 70 mile route.
