Police Suspect Foul Play in Case of Missing Katy Teen

PBRA possible break in the case of a missing teen has relatives fearing the worse.   But they must wait for answers as Fort Bend County detectives slowly piece the story together.BRBR“I would suspect foul play at this point,” said Chief Craig Brady.BRBRSpencer Wallace Vogt, a hearing impaired 19 year-old from Katy, was last seen by relatives Friday afternoon.BRBRDays later his black 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse coupe was found about 800 miles away in Georgia.BRBRPolice say it was being driven by a Houston man, who admitted he met Spencer online, but couldn’t say where the missing teen is.BRBR“He has given some explanations as to how he obtained the vehicle, but they are not valid and they have been disproven,” said Chief Brady.BRBRThe man, whose name is being withheld, is currently detained in Georgia and is considered only a person of interest.  A Texas Ranger and Fort Bend County detective traveled there to question him./P
PChannel 39 spoke to the victim’s mother at their Katy home.  She didn’t want to go on camera but she did tell us she’s been through a lot and she feels her son is no longer living.BRBRPolice won’t say what they’ve found inside Spencer’s car, but his mother told us investigators requested his blood type today.BRBRSpencer Vogt is described as 5’ 11’’ tall and weighing 188 pounds.
